What is Arcane AI?
Arcane AI is a physical deck of 22 Major Arcana in the Marseille tradition — created by Dog & Doll in 2022 — plus a digital oracle that interprets your spreads with artificial intelligence. The deck is a limited edition of 35 USD; the oracle can be used for free, in English or Spanish.
Unlike an app that deals random cards, Arcane AI starts from a real spread. You draw the cards from the physical deck, mark them in the portal — including whether they are upright or reversed — and the AI interprets the combination in relation to your question. The portal works as a digital companion to the deck, not a replacement for it.
The system has three depth tiers: Neophyte, Seer and Hierophant. The first is a short poetic reading that needs no account; the last is unlocked with the physical deck and delivers the most complete reading.
How an AI tarot reading works
A reading takes three steps:
- Draw with the physical deck. Shuffle, cut and lay out the cards in the chosen spread: one, three or five positions.
- Mark the cards in the portal. Select the Arcana that came up and whether they are reversed, then add your question or topic.
- Receive the interpretation. The AI reads the whole combination — not isolated cards — and adjusts depth to your account tier.
The result is not a prediction: it is a symbolic reading that describes tensions, questions and alternatives.
The three reading tiers
Neophyte
A short, poetic reading to try the oracle without creating an account. It offers a first impression of the symbol and requires no personal data.
Seer
A card-by-card reading with more context: shadow, synthesis and advice. Requires a free account and lets you keep your readings.
Hierophant
The full reading of the deck: symbolic, Jungian, Kabbalistic and astrological. It is activated with the physical deck and is the deepest tier of the oracle.

Each card is linked to a planet, a zodiac sign and a Hebrew letter on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The reading crosses four languages: Marseille tarot symbolism, Jungian archetypes, Kabbalah and astrology.
The oracle does not predict the future: it interprets the symbol. The AI does not foretell; it articulates what the spread has already set in motion. That is why readings are interpretive rather than deterministic.
